    Morning! ☀️☀️ Happy Friday! 🎉🎉 We're growing internationally and looking at making some sales hires in other countries, most likely Spain next. We've opened a subsiary in Portugal, but that was pre-Brexit and assume there may be some more complexity now! Does anyone have experience opening a company in Spain and/or trading in other European markets without an entity, but still paying relevant taxes etc? Any personal experience or recommendations of who to speak to would be greatly appreciated.

Via emoji scale (quick poll) 😍 - Love it 😀 - That’s great 🤔 - I’m not sure, I need to think about it 😐 - Not bad, but it needs improvement 😖 - I don’t like it, it doesn’t make sense 🥴 - I’m so confused • 2. By filling in this form (more in-depth feedback) What are the caveats to keep in mind? This will not reflect EVERYTHING an ops person does in their career from junior to a senior position. We’re also not trying to cover it all in this first iteration. The idea is to create a yearly matrix so you can check it off bingo style. At some point, hopefully, we’ll be able to cover it all. So keep that in mind when you review our first iteration. What is it? Everyone keeps talking about Ops Excellence, and quite frankly, it’s quite the fuzzy term. But, @wide-oil-40650 did a talk about this and found that we can centre it all around 8 pillars. So we took them and plotted them against different skill levels from foundational to expert level. This way, we give people an idea of what they should be able to do/master as they creep up the Ops ladder to a COO career. Why did we create this? The ops career path is murky, especially when we don’t know what we should be able to do/know. A lot of us are also managing fellow ops professionals and we’re often tasked with creating an L&D plan for the team, how can we make one, if we’re scratching our heads figuring out which skills we need? We hope that putting Ops Excellence points in a skills matrix, will start creating insights into the things we need to know and learn to move on to the next step in our careers. We want you to thrive, and this seemed like a great way to help out. How can you help? Nobody is better placed than Ops Stories members to see if this is a useful piece of work or not. If we get the first version out, we can build on it and create more and more useful content. Give us all the candid feedback you have for us here. You can be brutal, it’s important.     Hey Ops Stories peeps! Do you have an expenses policy that you’ve found gives agency to your team to act with financial prudence (in current leaner times)? We’re a 15-person distributed team who all have Wise cards to use from a central pot (where we intend to maintain ledgers for each person, as we roll out individual Benefits pots where they can decide how they spend the pot eg healthcare, L&D, etc) - generally people are pretty good, but we want to provide clarity on what can and cannot be expensed, so it’s fair to everyone. Any help is much appreciated!

    Has anyone got any experience with managing stock and orders? We're currently not shipping enough to outsource but it's enough that it's becoming incredibly time-consuming and we're expecting a lot of growth over the next few months so want to reduce scope for order error and get a better stock tracking system in place to reduce time spent on it
