Hey All, I have a question on the HRBP front. Suppose A resigns on 1st of the month & ideally the notice period ends on 30th of that month. However, A is not willing to serve the full notice period, & is okay with any notice period recovery. A wants to resign on 20th of the same month. 1. Can the manager or HR team hold the Resignation acceptance ? 2. Can the manager ask A to serve full notice period only, otherwise leading to hampered relations with the employer.

Hello everyone! 👋 We are a company based in Chandigarh trying to implement our annual/earned leave policy and we require some insights on the best way to enforce this in our HRMS. Our current policy: All confirmed employees are eligible for 18 days of annual leaves per year. Every one month an employee completes, a count of 1.5 annual leaves get added to the quota. Question: Is this is correct way to do it or should we add the entire quota at the start of the year and then have people plan their leave calendar? TIA! 🙏 cc: @Gracy Sharma
