    Hi Guys, One of my ex-colleague reached out about a clause in the maternity act. She is 8months into her pregnancy and has been put in PIP and the HR management has informed that if the performance doesn't improve, they might terminate her employment. I checked the law and it is generally not allowed to dismiss anyone while on maternity leave. Can you help me with this ?

    @Nivi Mandappa - There are many factors which you consider in Comp benchmarking one which level u want your company to be at P50, P75 or above. Then how are you diving the comp Total comp with benefits or only Fixed and Bonus.

    Hi Everyone, Can anyone please help with notice pay policy? When employee is not serving notice period as per policy so the shortfall of notice period will be calculated from the basic salary or gross(total earning of the employee) salary.

    Hello HRians, We all know that Payment of Gratuity is a mandate for any organization. Can you suggest any solution so a company can plan better in advance? Like, indirectly deducting it from employee's monthly pay or include it in CTC offered at the time of joining? Or if there is any other such way out which is legal and fair?
