    Hi everyone! One of my friends is a software developer and he has cleared the last round interview of one of the FinTech companies in India. They have asked him to show the pay slip of last three months along with the offer letter of his current company. He is asking me if it's okay to share the offer letter of his current company with the HR of the company he has interviewed for. What would you all suggest?

    There's a salary discussion round for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator role with a startup having its Headquarters in California, and office in other cities like NYC, Toronto and Delhi. But for India location, they are working from home. I was told that this is a contractual role of 1 year but has the potential to get into full-time. I am NOT okay with 1 year contract, so then they said it will be a 6 months contract post which they will convert me into full-time. My questions are : Question 1- What are some of the things that I should know or ask them before accepting this contractual role? Question 2: What could be their salary range for this role? (It is a well-funded startup) Question 3: Last but not the least, any advice/suggestion for salary negotiation would be really helpful. Any other advice for me ?!

    Hi, My appraisal process is coming up. I am currently in a startup where I am the only person in the HR team and I am handling the entire HR Operations (Recruiting, Engagement, Payroll, Query, Onboarding etc) of the company since last one year on my own. Is there a CTC range which I should expect after the appraisal (currently mine is in between 3-3.5 LPA excluding ESOP)? Would be really helpful if someone can share their experience or a range.     not related to compensation & benefits. How would you deal with a candidate whom you suspect got his assignment done by someone else? I hired a graphic designer recently, her work in the assignment vs what she makes in the job is drastically different. How would you deal with such a scenario since there is no way to prove that someone else made the assignment & how can this be avoided in future?
