    Hello All, How important is self-rating in an appraisal process. I know a few companies who doesn’t give that option. In our organization we had self-rating option till last year and we are discussing about removing that option from this year onwards. Most of the late comers are very senior people and I am a bit scared to talk to them and drive the conversation for late coming.     Hello, Please suggest on this scenario which i'm dealing currently and not sure what action to take? Employee who was associated with XYZ Organization quit without any consent or intimation (Absconded) and has not returned the assets yet. He was not responding to the number of calls or emails from XYZ Org. Now they have approached the current org to help in order to retrieve their assets. XYZ Org has mentioned to take legal action if the assets are not returned within 3 Working days. 1Q :- What action is advisable from current org? 2Q :- Any disciplinary action to taken by Current Org? 3Q :- What's best course of action to close this case ?

    Hello folks! So.. I work at a start up. We’ve a nin performing employee who has been given enough chances to improve their performance. Their role was changed, they were given additional support and were given a verbal warning that they need to improve else we may not be able to keep them with us. 2 months later, no improvement. Now we’re planning to terminate the employee. since wereya startup and processes are still being created, these 2 months were technically a PIP for them, without any documentation. My question is, if we decide to terminate, do we have to pay them any additional amount, apart from their monthly salary? There’s a clause in their offer letter as under; Your appointment can be terminated by the Company, without any reason, by giving you less than 1 months’ prior notice in writing or salary in lieu thereof. For this clause, salary shall mean basic salary. Please help me interpret this

    Hello All, we are an organization of 40 employees in IT company. Can anyone suggest to me how to give designation from junior to senior level as we have only TL and ATL in the organization structure. Currently, every developer is working with the same designation i.e. Android Developer or Web developer even though they have differences in years of experience. So, How I can start giving designations from junior to senior level? Do I need to follow any procedure!!

    Hi Everyone! We're a small team of 15 people, our founders want to keep a policy where people don't have to apply for leaves on the portal, but just inform their availability in advance. Since we're not keeping records, people have been taking unlimited leaves which is now affecting the performance of the team, we tried speaking to them one on one but the issue still persists. The founders still insist on not asking people to apply for leaves on the portal, can you please share some suggestions on how to bring more sense of taking leaves among people.
