    We would like to organise trekking, is it wrong to organise during sundays and asking employees to contribute. If we generally ask employee to reach the location themselves will they join or should we reimburse. We have a policy to reimburse if they are tarvelling min. 120 km far away from office

    Hey guys - I’m calculating attrition for my company at the moment. I know that we basically have to divide number of people in the team by number of people who resigned in a particular time period. I also know that people who are let go or laid off don’t have to be factored into this number. However I’m struggling to understand how to calculate attrition without including people who were let go in the opening number to ensure they’re also not accounted for the closing number. If any of you have dealt with something similar, possible to help here? Thank you!

    I'd use the following formula for annualized attrition: (Total number of exits - no. of people laid off or terminated)/Average headcount during the time x 12/no.of months x 100 For example: If your headcount was 300 on 31 March 2022 and is 320 as of 1 Feb 2023, no. of people who have exited the system are 40, out of which 18 were laid off and the rest were voluntary leavers, then your annualized attrition rate is: (40-18)/((300+320)/2) x 12/11 x 100 = 7.74% (The headcount would factor in layoffs as well as the hiring done during the period)

    HiAll, can anyone help me with one query regarding leave of employees. There is 0.5 sick leave for a year which means half day every month. If an employees takes 3 sick leaves a month. How many days LOP would be there?
