There is a proposal from the founder of my company to only do it if they are serving full notice n they would want to adjust the leave balance. In case they are serving less notice, we should not do.     The Shape of Work (TSOW) Community Rules - Please read before posting
    TSOW is a collaborative community, intended to provide a resourceful and friendly forum to Human Resources (HR) and People Operations (People Ops) professionals. It is therefore imperative that you, as a member, observe the following rules to uphold the mission/vision of this community. 1. A decent communication protocol must be adhered to. Foul language and use of abusive words/photographs in posts/profiles are STRICTLY prohibited. 2. It’s every member’s responsibility to go through the #announcements channel and the pinned messages on each channel before posting to see the policies for posting/subject topics/formats etc for each of the channels. 3. Do make sure that you provide the relevant references / original sources for every piece of material that has been reproduced from any other website / publication. 4. Strictly NO marketing on any channels (except #shameless-plug) for your products/services. Also, no third parties are permitted to make any commercial offers to members, via Direct Messaging (DM). Any sort of self-promotional post can ONLY be posted in #shameless-plug. Also, if we see a certain member only/frequently/consistently using the TSOW community to promote their wares, and not participating in conversations, adding any value - we’ll permanently ban them from the community. 5a. Spamming is considered as a very serious offense on TSOW. It includes one-line replies which have no relevance or do not contribute to the thread in any way.     We have started removing the member accounts that use this community only for their own benefit by repeatedly flouting community policy and spamming the community for their own benefit. The community is a give-and-take, so anyone found repeatedly using it only for their own benefit and NOT participating in conversations will be removed.     We'll start deactivating accounts that use the company name/org name/brand name as (or even in part of) their profile name in Slack. This is a community where we encourage transparency and knowing each other's names is a basic hygiene. Plus, using anything other than your name constitutes as self-promotion, hence against the community guidelines and policy. We'll start deactivating the accounts using any kind of brand name from June 8th.
