I was looking at <https://github.com/rodjek/rspec-puppet> and it mentioned For a list of other module development tools see <https://puppet.community/plugins/> which is a broken link to a website I think <@U1PC2RAH0> would own, should this just be removed or has it moved to a vox site?

IMO its syntax then. syntax yells about stuff that doesnt compile/compiles not what you expect, while lint only enforces a certain style?

pedantically speaking, the filename/classname match is autoloader convention, not syntax.

we already have puppet-lint and puppet-syntax, dont let us start puppet-autoloader-convention-vaildator-thingy :D

probably was detecting something bad in monolithic repo?

was that the check that complains about $author-$module/ dirs?

by then, its likely bookworm will be around the corner so vOv

package based installation in this module really isn't straight forward

yeah trying to figure out the magic around manage_repo and the logic around archlinux/fedora

arch is just awesome because it has a modern consul in their own repos

would really be good to do a major release and flip the default install method to package based

but doing that without breaking existing installations is... meh :D
