    Hello friends, systemd and logrotate modules are highly linked and every 6 month, we got dependencies issue. If I use
    Copy code
    {
      "name": "puppet/systemd",
      "version_requirement": ">= 7.0.0 < 10.0.0"
    },
    {
      "name": "puppet/logrotate",
      "version_requirement": ">= 7.0.0 < 10.0.0"
    }
    Librarian found the systemd 9.0.0, then process logrotate and found 8.0.0. But complains that systemd must be lower than 9.0.0 because logrotate require lower than 9 Rather than downgrading systemd and retrying deps until it "works" Could each time you release systemd, open range of logrotate too ?

    After three years, I've finally gotten around to submitting a pull request for puppet-chrony. I would appreciate looking at my changes in the spec file for how I can variable-ize the /etc/sysconfig/chronyd file. Rubocop gets angry when I try.

    OnceOver: I imagined checking all manifests and custom modules for compatibility using Onceover before upgrading Puppet and Puppetserver from 7 to 8. I'm mainly worried about the legacy facts. I installed Onceover using my own Ruby version (rvm) because of dependency issues, and it works. But somehow I can't get Onceover to run simple tests like pdk or puppet-lint. Am I thinking in the wrong direction here? There used to be a function or option called 'future' that scanned all manifests for future syntax issues. Unfortunately, it no longer exists.
