    Hi All!! In a dilemma like many HR professionals. I have completed my Masters in Organizational Psychology. And drawing a good package currently as someone with 2 years of experience as HR. But an issue I face is that when looking for change most companies are not comfortable giving higher package as they can get a senior resource with more experience in that range which leads to very less good opportunities available. Thus it leads me to think is it necessary to do an MBA or I can go ahead without it also? And if not MBA can I expect getting higher salary or their might be stagnation after a point due to not having MBA degree. Please help me in with your suggestions

    Hi Folks, I wrote some steps based on my understanding of employee termination from an IT company. Please check if there is any step I've missed or if I need to remove it? Termination we follow a well-defined termination process that ensures fair and transparent handling of employee performance or disciplinary issues. Here are the steps we take: Step 1: Receive employee performance reports, behavior issues, or disciplinary issues from their manager or mentor. Step 2: Personally speak with the employee and schedule a call with their manager to understand and resolve the issue. If the issue persists, share a performance improvement plan (PIP) approved by the leadership team, giving the employee 15 days' notice to work on their performance and attitude. Step 3: Keep their mentor, team lead, or reporting manager in the loop during the PIP period, guiding and motivating the employee to improve. Step 4: After 15 days, received a performance email from the reporting manager. If there is no improvement, discuss it with the leadership team. Step 5: Schedule a call with the employee and explain the termination, sharing a termination email and reason for the same. Step 6: Initiate exit formalities like collecting all credentials and assigned tasks. Step 7: Ask them to sign all the exit documents and wish them luck in their future career. Step 8: We believe that this process ensures transparency and fairness while also giving the employee an opportunity to improve their performance.
