    Summary of today’s discussions 1. its important to understand the value systems of the organisation and philosophy of organizations before beginning the goal setting process 2. Doesnt matter the tool that you use but important to identify which tool suits the best as per the industry you are associated with 3. performance evaluation is not a periodical exercise and we shouldn’t wait for review meetings for giving good or bad feedback 4. Feedbacks should be spontaneous 5. Authentic conversation is an art and strongly needs to be imbibed in the culture of the organisation and especially while having performance dialogues with the team 6. The purpose of performance dialogues is the growth alignment of an individual to organisations goals 7. Compensation and performance dialogues need not be linked always 8. Goals the more direct and simple and smart are most easy to measure and appraise 9. make sure you have enough data to make data driven decisions otherwise it is a futile exercise 10. We should look forward and be prepared for a time where performance management system would be removed from organizations and would be driven more by daily productivity and contributions

    Folks, What would you prefer to ask candidates on a job application form? a) Basic details: Name, Email, Phone and Resume (Remaining can be on call) b) All the information that is required for the role: Current location, Willingness to relocate, Current CTC, Expected CTC, Notice period, and many more specific to your company and job. Would candidates prefer to fill out the application if it is simple? Please share your thoughts.

    ⛔ Replying in-channel instead of a thread:

    One common mistake people make is to reply in-channel instead of in a thread. This can create clutter and confusion within the channel, making it difficult for community members to follow the conversation.
    When you reply in a thread, it keeps the conversation organized and contained to the specific topic at hand and also helps to reduce notification overload for team members who may not be directly involved in the conversation.
    
    1) Hover over the message that you'd like to reply to.
    2) Click the 'chat/Reply in thread' icon.
    3) Type your reply.
    4) Send your message.
    ⛔ Posting the same message on multiple channels:

Post offer he has been very negative about policy and processes of my client and is challenging it now and then. He has already resigned from his current organization but his attitude towards this client and offer is being negative. Now in this scenario the client feels and me too that he is no fit in the value systems of the company. He is challenging the policies as well of the organization.
