    Hi Karthik. I am part of NHRD Bangalore. Yes it is very helpful being part of it. As a registered member you have many benefits for learning and networking A step ahead, as a volunteer, you get to be part of organizing team for various events, again networking with senior HR people.

    Hi all, Can anyone please explain me this? So in our payroll software, up to 5 lakh of taxable income, TDS is not deducted. But if I look at the slab for tds rates on salary, the tds on 2.5-5 lpa should be 10%. I can understand that we will receive an equal amount of rebate at this level of income but shouldn't tds be still deducted at this stage? And then people can claim the rebate while filing ITR. Let me know what I am missing here. Thanks!
