i don’t think this is possible yet. Workaround is some sort of form that ties back into the user table of your stacker setup, wait ~15ish minutes for the sync, then direct your user to <http://your.stacker.app/url/Register|your.stacker.app/url/Register> to register

Not possible on Stacker X, still possible on Stacker Classic.

Hi Tom, you have to toggle on each fields in each table's settings + some fields are not supported by Stacker (eg barcodes), you can find more details here : <https://docs.stacker.app/essentials/data-connection/supported-airtable-data-types>

Hi <@U022X559A14>, you should be able to do this with a custom formula url that you create in Airtable, where you take the Stacker create url for the form, and add ?autofill__[field name]="[desired value]" at the end of the url. You can then add that custom create url to Stacker, and display it as a button, in a Highlight block for example

Yep, this is the workaround I’ve found as well.

Only challenge is that the table is a Record List embedded into another record, so the Add New button in this case already auto-populates some of those carried over fields. I know I could create a ton of custom fields autofilled, but now I run into how it affects UX as well.

Hey all! Does anyone know if it’s possible to add dynamic data to a form e.g. in a field label or description? I know I can pre-populate a field by passing through in the URL, but that’s not quite what I need to achieve as I do not want the user to submit the data as such. Any help appreciated as always :slightly_smiling_face:

Looking at attachments from within AT works, direct link doesn’t. Probably an AT bug indeed.

User specific URLs can be created in Airtable using formula fields. You can then use these fields in fields containers as a button/URL

Thank you so much for the reply - but if I’m not mistaken there is no option to place a container into one of the “add new” forms - unless I’m missing something?!

You can add Field containers in the add new forms.

I played around with this for a while but couldn’t seem to achieve adding a button into a field container. Because it’s a form the only option seems to be adding a field. So I can pre-populate a field, but not add a button :disappointed:

<@U02E83Q2J7M> you can’t add buttons in a `Create` layout. There is also no dynamic options for field names and field description, I had <https://stacker.canny.io/feature-requests/p/dynamic-button-name|a similar request> for buttons. Dynamic field names and field description including in banners, would be an awesome feature.

A way I try to workaround this is remove the create role and have the button in the `Detail` layout and control it from there. You can have action buttons in field containers. Or set your pre-defined URL as a button.

Hi Phil, there isn’t a way to hide the left navigation at the moment, you should be able to hide the individual tables by unchecking the roles in your edit layout.

<@U01CGS2G35K> Difficult, it’s possible but targeting a particular section might be possible through ordering, which might break if you re-order your sections, or add another in-between, or use conditional visibility, etc.

Another more reliable solution is through JS, which would allow to hide a section based on what fields it contains, but it would be slightly slower than a CSS-based solution.

Wondering if there’s a way to force data updates? I have an Airtable form where users can add themselves to the db, but they can’t log in (well, actually do a password reset that would allow them to log in) until it updates Stacker. Anyone run into this?

Could you give me a bit more info about what you’re looking to do?

I think you might not need a separate workspace for each client.

You could name your workspace as the name of your company, and then name each app with the client’s name.

Hello Sebastijan, thank you for your answers. I need to limit app visualisation only with the users associated. For each client I have, I need to create portal client with their users. Is it possible to limit visualisation between different app ?

You can build one app and use advanced roles for each client to only see their own record. We do this on several apps.

Are you looking to restrict which client can see which app? Or are you looking to have different branding for each client?

Okay perfect. It works, my usecase is :  My client (for example EDF)  needs a clients portal for its clients (Carrefour, Liddle, Leclerc, etc...). I have another client (for example ENI) which need a clients portal for its clients (Franprix, Monoprix, Casino). I want that Casino sees only his data and ENI sees only its data clients (Franprix, Monoprix, Casino) and not the data of EDF.

In that case I would probably have a separate app for each client that needs a client portal (EDF and ENI), and then have different roles, users and permissions within each app, so that each client can only see their record. Our <https://support.stackerhq.com/hc/en-us/categories/4409597726355-Users-Permissions|Users &amp; Permissions> articles might come in handy here.

I don’t see any easy way of doing this, this option doesn’t exist as of today.

As for the hard way, _*maybe*_ using custom CSS would allow you to hide all the options you don’t want, but even if it works (it’s a big if), it will be hardcoded and won’t display different options to different users.

And it might also be possible using custom JS, but it’s quite advanced, but might allow displaying different options to different users. (it’d more advanced than any JS I wrote on Stacker so far, quite of a hack)

You could workaround this by creating dummy fields for the fields you don't want to show up on the filter. Basically have formula fields which default to the field value. And use these new fields in the list

Where exactly are you looking to put customer logos?

If you’re looking to put them as app logos, my suggestion would be:
• Go for a transparent .png file with a version of the logo that best fits the background.
• The logo should be at least 230px wide, though you can definitely go bigger. We will automatically resize it to be up to 230px wide.
• Make sure your logo size is below 100 kb in size to make sure it loads as fast as possible.

Ah yeah you can't delete the create and detail views

You can restrict access to them with permissions. Eg read only on that table and those set of users will never see the create view

1. For now it is synced along with the data. We are actively exploring ways to make the sync faster, including the user sync. It can take up to 15 minutes for the user to show up, depending on when the last sync happened. 
2. While there is no API call you can make right now, you can manually trigger a data sync by going to *App Settings* &gt; *Data sources* and clicking the refresh data button
3. We don’t have any open API endpoints yet, but we have plans on making them available some time in the future.
