permissions question (v5): the docs says “By default, all users can read, update, and create new records”. does this mean, If I delete the default permission configuration, all users would have full access to all the records in the corresponding table? OR does it mean the default is actually NO ACCESS, BUT the permission config created by system provides the full access? therefore, If I update the system-created permission config to allow access only to a specific role, all the other users will have no access to the records in corresponding table? in other words, do I need to create a DENY permission config for each role that should not have any access to data?

Just a note for those of you who haven't looked at your Stacker apps since the outage yesterday was resolved. I had to reauthorize my Airtable OAuth connection in Stacker and am having to go through every Stacker app and repair table connections. I also had to repair my OAuth connection in Make, so it appears that Airtable somehow revoked many or all OAuth connections during the outage.

Thanks Jeff. We have an issue where it's not letting us follow the “repair” steps and says we have legacy airtable connection (even tho we def upgraded back in the day when needed to). Have put in a support request but any clues in the meantime appreciated!

@silly-pharmacist-44942 @rough-orange-4490 There really should be a warning about this, we got emails from Fillout, Make, Zapier, but nothing from Stacker although all our apps were down since Friday, I could have fixed it much faster had I known.

I'm seeing that too. Has there been a response from stacker?

Hi everyone. We've been working on getting these connections restored – it seems that some of you are still unable to connect despite being on up-to-date authentication. We're still not exactly sure why that is, but we've got a workaround, and if you find yourself in that state, please reach out to support. I’ve thought about using Twilio to some extent, but I’m still unsure how to capture the magic link/one-time code to send via SMS. Has someone done this before?

Hi, I have a look up field on airtable (an email field), stacker transforms it in a "long text field" and then I cannot compare it with a filter to the user's email (which is a short text field). Would you have an idea of how to repair this ? (My app has been broken for a month, I have just manage to find the bug ...)

Our app was broken today because the airtable base somehow disconnected on its own, we had to “repair” to fix it. As I understand these things may happen, I don’t understand why there is no monitoring to warn us when it does.

Our Stacker app sync broke again a few days ago around 18/6/2026 5:07am I had to fix it manually. Stacker Classic app (“This app was migrated from Stacker Classic”)

Astra is being retired by the end of August (!) - where are you guys migrating your apps and how are you doing it in just a couple od weeks?
