which error message? I guess some deps are missing like make or gcc

this should work on everything with rhbx 2.7 or newer

moved further with ubi9, but ruby-augeas fails to compile, not sure what's missing

the augeasproviders* modules need libaugeas or augeas-devel or augeas-dev or whatever the liv package is called on your system

no such thing, won't be surprised that ubi doesn't have full set of packages, looking on rhel

redhat makes questionable decisions recently. I do see augeas-devel on full blown rhel9, but not on ubi9

I personally use vagrant so have to also set BEAKEY_hypervisor=vagrant to run beaker

this allows Ctrl+Z to suspend the running test suite and allow to connect to the VM to inspect what is wrong before resuming the test suite with a standard `fg`

So far, I did manage to get vagrant with libvirt working in a way .. It spawns up the vagrant boxes, and then it hangs.   Seems beaker cannot do any work or make a proper connection to the vagrant boxes.  Still trying to make it work.  Didnt use the BEAKER_HYPERVISOR env though,  need to check that out first

that env var is required. it defaults to docker

I’d go for docker as long as nothing specific is required

`BEAKER_HYPERVISOR=vagrant_libvirt BEAKER_SETFILE=centos7-64 bundle exec rake beaker` should be fine to run on centos 7

and then ust replace it with the desired OS

that does indeed loads of things more ..  fails on installing puppet (but thats proxy over here).  But vm spins up and beaker starts installing packages .... Thx ... can move on again :slightly_smiling_face:
