@voxel hum, maybe you are missing something… You can compare with another module that use it

    Searching
    org:voxpupuli it_behaves_like 'an idempotent resource'
seems to produce some good results e.g. https://github.com/voxpupuli/puppet-jenkins/blob/2fa686c874c1f4b2a2eec7ef50d3878ef386c304/spec/acceptance/plugin_spec.rb#L45

who do I need to pester about a new puppetlabs-postgresql release? without https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppetlabs-postgresql/commit/e6551ee4ed4796d1925c0828fc20a1dd9a9ef669 you can't use the latest postgresql with the latest apt :/

https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppetlabs-apt/pull/1114 debateable if that's an enhancement or a breaking change

    breaking change from my POV

though.. if consider the previous stdlib bump then maybe it’s enhancement for the previous breaking change 🙂

previously it was compatible with stdlib9, now it requires it
  • y

but stdlib9 support is already breaking change, right? because of namespaced functions

only if you use functions :D

and the puppetlabs/apt 9.1.0 release switched from ensure_packages to ensure_packages and now stdlib9 is required, not compatible

I like to ask for a review of https://github.com/voxpupuli/puppet-r10k/pull/605, which fixes a bug with the webhook-go service. Thanks in advance.

dhollinger Sorry for my responses being so flaky. I am currently relocating and also in the middle of an exam season. Maybe a good start would be some kind of list of requirements/wishlist what use cases one would like the app to cover. With that we can compare it with the current featureset and draft a plan what to rework and how. Ideally we could

do that async so that in the end we have a list of todo items you or someone else can simply tackle. Does that make sense?

Any clue why https://github.com/voxpupuli/puppet-earlyoom/pull/24 is attempting to install puppet 8.24? Somewhat ahead of itself.

frisbee[m]: a dirty hack, to have Puppet 7 CI working after Puppet 8 was released.
