    I (personally) don't go to conferences to watch talks but to see (and talk to) people

    and also I think a local puppet VAR tried pre pandemic "puppet camp" in Amsterdam, but I got the feeling most of the folks that might've been interested were in the "I'm already going to ccggcgccamp in ghent"
