    I think OpenBSD doesn't do semantic versioning. 6.9, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2 are all considered major/independent releases

    on first glance would you agree the rather shakey mapping thats in place for openbsd of osrelease to osmajorrelease without any transformation, would probably just make minor version in Rhel work
