We have had a digital risk audit by a friend of one of our investors and they dug deep in our social media accounts (I mean the team’s) so since then we are thinking of having a social media policy. Hi Everyone, great to be part of the network! Thanks @colossal-dream-48667 for the intro to @quiet-orange-43581! I am currently Head of Ops at Makers, we run a bootcamp training software developers. This is my first Head of Ops role and I have been here for about a year. Before that I was the 2nd employee at The New Entrepreneurs Foundation where I worked for 4 and a half years helping to get the company off the ground. I also spent a year running the frontline Ops for the London office of Hostmaker. So a bit of a mix really and have just been figuring it all out as I go, and learning lots. I am also in the process of moving to New York for 2 years which is really exciting. Hoping to continue my ops journey over there so still looking forward to remaining engaged with this community and helping out where I can.

hey @orange-area-56954 - we've used heytempo before who are pretty good for temp but also do perm candidates. might not be exactly what you're after if it has to be a strictly work experience role...

Just looking for a doer in marketing so shopify, mailchimp management with indesign experience

Recruiter no, but workinstartups.com has ample supply of interns that have some technology experience and are eager to learn. At least that’s our experience.

I was thinking of how to improve this slack and I think making several channels for topics would help. I know we have two but I was thinking some more categorisation might be good? 01 - General 02 - Marketing 03 - HR 04 - Legal 05 - Intros 06 - Events 07 - Opportunities 08 - Highs and Lows (Discuss big wins, commiserate and navigate bad situations) 09 - Tech

@gorgeous-shampoo-27879 We're looking into getting some more relevant channels in Slack. It's a great idea to keep things in places where you can go back and find them later. Everyone, please suggest the categories you'd like to see here and I'll start creating some during the Xmas holidays. The prefect time to make things more efficient, just before the new year 😉
