    Hi Ops People! My experience has mainly been in a Centralised Ops model (i.e. traditional departmental model) but I have been thinking that for certain businesses, a Decentralised model (i.e. Ops spread out into business units) could be more fitting for certain organisations I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or experience with this?

    Hey all, we're growing past the point where handling IT (basically staff laptops) between our Ops and Tech teams makes sense. Our main requirements are: • New starter hardware set up (Windows / Mac) • Hardware troubleshooting • We use G Suite / Slack / Atlassian but other than setting up users we don't really need too much expertise in any of these. Anyone know any good IT firms for stuff like this? Or other ways of solving?

    Hello everyone! Looking for a PEO in the US to employee 3 US employees. We have been using Oyster so far, but are setting up our US entity, bank account, option agreement, etc. We need the PEO for payroll, benefits (read: healthcare), etc. I've used Trinet in the past, but they now have a 5 employee minimum.     Good morning, I wasn't quite sure where to post this but looking for some advice. We are thinking about looking for a role to help with some legal admin/GPDR/data requests/filling out DPIAs - maybe even helping with writing our tenders. Currently I do a lot of this or delegate to some of our Support team. Wondering what roles people have in their business for this? What job titles exist? Another thought we had was could this tie with an Office Manager - who can help ensure office policies are being followed. Happy to clarify more if anyone is happy to chat.

However I have no reference to what good/ acceptable is. Does anyone have any experience/ references/ material to help me? KPIs include • CSAT - Customer Satisfaction • FRT (first response time) • NPS • Team utilisation • Contacts rates (customer contacts per orders) • Refunds

    Hi all, QUICK SLACK SURVEY TIME! I'd really love to know what your company does with regard to the Christmas holidays by way of emoji vote - do you stay open between Christmas and NY (🎄), close for the holidays (🎅) or does it depend (🤷‍♀️)? We are a super small service-based startup in our second year so we've taken action based on what we've got going on with clients, but as we grow I'd like to develop a policy so our employees can plan around it and I'd love to know what you guys do!

There are a few key company level metrics which I regularly report on, but these are cross-functional and are more reflective of our performance across the business. For operations specifically, OKR performance is my go-to (alongside customer support metrics as this also sits in Ops), but wondering if there are any others that people use?

    Hey all — niche ESOP question if anyone has expertise: Is an employee allowed to exercise their options multiple times from the same agreement? We have a current employee who wants to exercise what they’ve vested so far, but plans on staying with the company and continuing to vest further (and would like to exercise again in the future).
