Hi community! Wondered if anyone has been through (or is currently in) the process of baselining their orgs’ GHG emissions using the SBTi framework? More specifically, would love to speak to startups who are in the very early stages of their operations and will expect their scope 1-3 emissions to grow (potentially significantly) before they are reduced. How are you managing this in terms of i) identifying an appropriate baseline for reporting and ii) implementing a strategy to reach carbon neutrality or net zero by 20XX?

What is the compensation survey? Each year, we send out an anonymised survey which takes around 10minutes to complete. The survey will ask a range of questions about your job, responsibilities, pay, package and other perks. We use this data to look at trends across the Ops community and produce the compensation survey. Why is it important for you to help? Last year, several members were able to negotiate a higher salary as they were being underpaid. This year we’ll be looking at trends over time to answer questions about gender pay gap and gender experience needed for senior positions. But please, we need you to take the time to complete the survey.  If you have any other key questions you’d like us to answer, please let Mike and I know before Monday.
