"we should enjoy the work, and *the way that we do the work*".I've heard the "enjoy the work line" used and overused many times, but the 2nd part of that sentence really struck me. I never actively thought about that 🙂 and it's super interesting to me 'cos as ops/process people, in many cases we're largely responsible for HOW we do the work across the organisation, not only within our own teams. hence...for the amount of joy our colleagues find in their work. and since we like talking about KPIs/metrics and how we measure (or more often, can't measure) our success, maybe the answer is the score of how much the team enjoys the way they work?
