Hello, does anyone have any recommendations for an SEO agency? Ideally fintech but actually doesn’t matter too much (I hope). Thanks!

Happy Friday <!here>, hope you're not melting and drinking enough water. It's been a while and I just thought of it, so I figured I'd just post it as a Friday question. ❓ Has your attention to detail diminished over time? As your seniority has grown and your team has gotten bigger, has it affected your attention to detail? Has the definition of attention to detail changed over time? A bit of background: When I first got into ops my role was mainly as a fact checker, my day to day was picking out wrong details. Over time, I've gotten more busy and I've definitely not had the time to focus just on the details of things, but also more high level strategy work. At the moment I'm working on a project that requires both hands on set-up of stuff with huge attention to detail + coming up with a Marketing strategy. I feel like juggling both just isn't working as well. Also, I wonder if my attention to detail hasn't shifted from including the right link on an event to thinking through a process from start to finish and uncover potential pitfalls before we even create the process. I wonder if any of you has had a (similar) experience with attention to detail in an ops role.

On a similar note, does anyone have a good insurance broker they would recommend? We use Digital Risks and the service for the past year has been pretty poor. We're a Fin-tech start up of 130 people- and have cyber, travel, contents, management & employers liability insurance

    Q. Why did the two Penguins jump when they first met? A: They were trying to break the ice That is assuming it hadn't melted in this INSANE HEAT. Onto my ask...one of our OKRs this quarter revolves around getting our management team to agree on some employee survey metrics. To date our employee surveys have been sent out quarterly and vary a lot. We want some consistency and want to hold our management team to account (we're also moving these surveys from being totally anonymous to having to state which team you sit in). Whilst many metrics will be specific to us, it'd be great to know how others went about this, how you've phrased these and any learnings you may have.

Does anyone know of a reliable (CREST or Check certified) penetration test provider that you would recommend? How much do you pay for infrastructure penetration and web application penetration testing and how long does it typically take? We've looked at ITGovernance.co.uk and they look good, but want to shop around a bit

Question from someone who will shortly be joining be Ops Stories: “I’m looking to speak to other Ops people who are working in highly regulated markets like healthtech and Fintech to understand how they make their Ops functions work in a slick way from a product assurance and IG perspective. Particularly when building new products rapidly.” Would anyone be open to an intro to discuss this?

Hi team (and linked to Ben's post on Friday), I'd be interested to know what other teams are doing in relation to office space off of the back of lockdown. We'd love to stay where we are, but potentially in a smaller office as we WFH a few more days per week. We also imagine this can be done at a discounted rate as demand for office space in general has fallen across the city. Has anyone had these negotiations with their landlords already and what type of discounts are people seeing?

If, like me, you are struggling for fun remote ideas for people's birthdays..... I just discovered https://joy.cards which lets you send a free video birthday card to someone. You just send an individual invite to everyone in your team to record a short message. Can be for up to 50 people (there's a time limit not people limit I believe, so if you have more people, shorter videos will let you share to more if you are in a bigger team)

<!here> Does anyone have any recommendations for a resourcing/ attendance tool that would manage people's allocated time for projects, also combined with showing who is on vacation/ not available? For example, the employee/contractor may work for 3 clients during the same week and we need to see how many hours that person spends for which client and also show the total number of hours spent per week. Thanks!

<!here> Hey all! We are currently writing a blog at HubbleHQ on ‘The Financial Contributions to Remote Working’ (working title). We are trying to gather a few examples of companies who have introduced budgets and procedures for teams to acquire new home working equipment. If anyone is proud of their current policy and procedures and would like to share please drop a 👍 on this post and I’ll reach out by dm. Happy to offer backlinks in exchange! Thanks

Hi all! We're keen to take our data protection to the next level (we need to do a data audit, and want to use it as an opportunity to make sure we're doing everything well + set up the right policies etc.). Does anyone have any advice on the best way of doing this without putting too much burden on the team? I've come across companies that specialise in helping with this stuff, law firms have also said they can help us. We're still a very lean team so looking to strike the balance between time invested and cost. Open to any advice and recommendations

Hello everyone. Is there a business.facebook.com wizard out there? I'm looking to create an account to join my client's account. I've created 2 ads under my own name. Now the questions are: • I've been invited to join the business's account via email. Should I just log in with my personal account, or is it better to create a new account to avoid mix ups? • Can I migrate the ads I currently have under my own name to my client's account? Does this play a role in how I create my account? Really hoping someone knows the answer to this 🤞

Very much #random rather than #general but looking for advice from your clever minds! Has anyone successfully set up unattended remote access for an android tablet? I had TeamViewer Host set up working really well but the tablet just updated to the latest Android and now the user has to confirm any incoming access. Context: Looking for a way to remote support/control a tablet for an elderly person.

Hey everyone, I just came off a call with a start-up founder who's looking to pivot his current company. He's currently still looking at what they can help with exactly, but these are the main questions they've been asking. • Checking in with your team is a very manual process, when you're working from home it's even more difficult and time consuming. Which things could be automated to help out with how manual things are for managers and team leaders? • When you're growing as a company/scaling up, which things that you do with your team is impossible to keep doing with more team members or a larger team to manage? • If a company is now going towards a long term strategy to stay remote (or be mainly remote) what could be helpful to keep the organisation's performance up? Aside from this being helpful to this founder, I think these questions can help prompt managers into thinking longer term when it comes to trying to solve remote working fatigue and look at the problem from a temporary one to a longer term one. What would be helpful to disrupt the current working from home problem into something completely innovative? Finally if you know of any process or company that helps with solving any of these questions/problems, feel free to share those too. Thank you! 😄

Hi all, We're thinking of trying to host a virtual offsite 😬 and I was wondering if anyone had used any agencies or better still, come up with their own ideas of activities/games that encompass team building elements to get employees who would not normally work together integrating etc. Virtual escape room is one option. Any thoughts/recommendations would be much appreciated.

A quickie one from me to say hello! I've been a bit radio silence for a few weeks; PopUp has been 150% of my attention recently, only just about able to come up for air! Just wanted to remind you all to take a breath. It's so easy to get swamped and feel like the only person who can solve it all. Grab a cuppa/ beer/ water/ tomato juice, get a movie on and just chill. You deserve it ❤️
