i honestly don't know, lol. Two ways of interpreting the rules here: Either each model is it's own boss, not reacting to death, or the group is a boss together. It states that if multiple hit die are removed at the same time that each reaction should be resolved, unless it is the last hit die removed. -but doesn't state what happens in the instance of multiple non minion bosses, whether each model doesn't react from their own pop, or whether it's only the very last die removed from the scar tribe board that is ignored. If removing one hit point from the shaman didn't cause a reaction because he died, then none of the other scar tribe would react when another one of them died. -this seems silly, but i guess it could be argued that only the shaman himself wouldn't react in that round, but all other scar tribe would. If removing a hit point from the shaman causes a reaction, then he will react in that reaction round before he dies, as per the "The enemy will perform that reaction then immediately die". -unless we're going by the Each Model is it's own boss, then him losing his health will mean he will not react in that round, and each other tribesman will. If removing 3 hit point from 3 separate scar tribe causes you to draw 3 reactions, then all 3 would be from phase 2, and all 3 would active in each reaction. -unless we're going by the each model is it's own boss rule, in which case you would draw 3 reactions for popping 3 parts, and the two that died would active in 2 rounds (not 3 as they ignore the last one drawn), the Pack leader would active in all 3. -you could argue that each character that dies ignores their own reaction card AND the other 2 drawn at the same time because they are dead. But i think the "The enemy will perform that reaction then immediately die" makes it seem like they would be alive for at least 2 reactions and be dead on the 3rd. What does everyone else think? I think i made it sufficiently complicated

But the problem here is they all died at the same time s dmg was applied to all of them simultaneously. So if they all died at the same time, how would they perform reaction for another one? In this case we drew reaction card for each hit die broken and the one that were alive got their stronger attacks (adding yellow die for each dead scar). So Pack Leader was the only one that survived the attack and he performs all 3 reactions on Blade that trigger them and other Scars will attack closest target.

but that's the same thing as if you killed two parts at the same time, how can they react to the part being broken if both died simultaneously

Well, similar thing happened in Wyrm boss fight. I broke of two parts. One on head and one on tail. Its body was already dead, but it uses its reactions still. That`s how we thought these work too. We killed one of their and they get pissed off and attack us.

Treat each model like it's a separate boss. That FAQ question would really only apply to the chieftain in this situation. In the example above of breaking 3 die from multiple enemies you would draw the reactions still but ignore any parts referencing the dead bosses. The FAQ applies to the chieftain such that if you killed both of the chieftains die in a single attack and he was the last man standing then you would deal with 1 reaction and then he dies.

If you break both of the chieftains die and he isn't the last man standing then you would resolve both reactions

Oathsworn is only reason I paint minis at all, it just doesn't feel same playign with unpainted ones. Even with KD:M I just did zenithal b&w priming, dipped in nuln oil and dry brushed with white, done. I know I'll probably wont see this bosses for a while after chapter so it needs somrthing that just looks good enough on the table.

We play story on one day, then I paint minis with wife on next and then we do encounter on day after that. Gives a nice pace to the game

resolve both his actions then he dies? or resolve both cards drawn but he doesn't take part in the reactions?

If the Chieftain was the last man standing and you broke both of his HP die at once you would resolve 1 reaction and then he dies.
