When I bought that ram for my NUC it was $140. Didn't realize how lucky I was last year!

@User not a network guru here, but yes that's my understanding. lacp will distribute multiple connections based on a hash algorithm (some switches allow this to gine tune) over bond members,. so overall troughput increases but not the single connection. maybe some networking pros can elaborate on how this works in depth.

@dready Nope, makes sense. I have just never given it much thought. Unfortunately, that sounds like the thought of using multiple USB NICs in this won't help increase throughput. Ultimately I really only care about XS >> Synology to try and take advantage of multiple connections. I'll poke around a bit more to see if there is a way to take advantage of it. Thanks for the slap in the head though, definitely helps me not waste time!

Yeah, all ready for Nutanix CE, have NVMe, so the money that @User saved on RAM last year is what I save now on the NUC that it's 22% down in price caused by the upcoming 7th gen

Guys, I think you misunderstood the problem. Not just Synology is affected

But all Intel hardware partners using the C2xxx Intel CPUs

just stay away from products using the Atom C2xxx chips

@User Yep, anything with that Atom chip

I'm using for years XPEnology for my lab. I started playing with it and was amazed to find out that's damn stable and got used to it for all data
