They really are. As most of us, I used the crappy Linksys/Netgear stuff over the years. Night and day difference.

BUt I am now going to ruin that uptime. I realized I needed to update. Good write up on your site, btw.

Haha, yeah the updates are pretty good. I noticed the firmware that was released recently just after I got the gear in made some changes to the Controller UI. Example, it auto refreshes in near realtime so you don't have to set the refresh time setting along the top anymore

I've heard a lot of ppl talking about these APs lately. I don't have a wifi issue right now with my $150 negear router at home but some day I will and then I'll look at getting these I think

That's Nutanix doing it's magic, because on my 950 an install takes a couple of minutes. REALLY looking fwd to getting that 4 node Nutanix CE cluster running.

My huge splurge was my 1815+. That one hurt to buy but I justified it since I needed something. For all my personal data too

@User: Thanks! Will do! Is everyone here signed up for the Ubiquiti Beta Store where you can buy early gear for half price?

Just bought a second DS1815+ so I can do replication. Arrived last week and still in the box right now so need to figure that out. I've got a very understanding wife who trusts me to handle the credit card statements haha. If she only knew how much all this gear adds up to. 😅

Think I just resolved my on problem, I'll have 10 Skulls, but only 4 will be used with Nutanix CE, so I just buy 4x 256GB stick for those

I used it for long car ride with my family. Can read media from the usb port. Plugged ina 128gb flashdrive with movies, tv shows, etc on it. Had all 5 kids with their devices connected to it for the car trip. All were watching something different

awesome, but can you connect to hotel-wifi and then get that out on the LAN port, or the LAN port has other functions?
