The plus is available but I don’t really have a video surveillance need so the hard drive will just go unused. Unless I could figure out how to use that for some backups....hmmmmm

The new UniFi Controller dashboard in 5.9.29 is pretty interesting. They really want to push the IPS feature.

I only have 2 screens up and use them daily. Life and work has been kicking me in the butt so the other 4 screens haven’t been ordered yet and it’s gonna be a while before I can get back to it. All stands are in and assembled though. I’ll take pics later.

Yes customer’s ControlUp Console over an HDX session if we’re working on something, Zoom/GTM/WebEx, my ControlUp Console, web browsers, tickers, news, Netflix, whatever. Each rolling stand can support 2 TVs. The TVs can be controlled with the same remote if I simply want to switch inputs or I can control them individually using the Roku iOS app on the iPad. It’s easy to go from my workstation to one of these TVs using Mouse Without Borders. This is the view when sitting in my chair. The TVs just float above right where my computer monitors end. I still have to do some cable managment and small positioning changes on the brackets but so far it’s been very good. To the left is one of the rolling stands in a collapsed state waiting to add 2 TVs. Not pictured but to the left of that is another one.

The window glare is not as bad in person. But if I need it darker I tell Alexa to roll down the blackout roller shade mounted just above the window in an outside mount and it becomes almost pitch black in the room. That’s where the Hue lights come in handy to wash the wall and provide some backlighting so it doesn’t feel like sitting in a cave.

You apparently prefer vertically vs. horizontally mounted monitors? Interesting.

I’ve never tried vertical mount monitors before with a workstation. I’ve always had 3 monitors on my desk just wrap around.

I lucky enough to snag one of the new Bean Canyon 8th gen NUCs on Black Friday on Amazon. Has anyone had any luck with vt-d gpu passthrough on either these or the Coffee Lake based NUCs?

Just note that the NVidia GPU can only be pass thru. The Iris can still be a VGPU.
