RDM has the RDM Jump feature embedded since v12 if I’m not wrong…

Yep, RDM Jump is there and it's pretty slick.

RoyalTS turned into a massive .NET CPU hog for me and switched to RDM. Still has some bugs here and there, but usable!

my ESXi trial runs out in 30 days, what you recommend, get vmug advantage (200$) or go for nutanix CE? Hardware is Intel Core i5 3.4GHz, 64GB RAM and 2 SSD + 1 HDD

Depends on what you’re running on the NUC I guess

Citrix testing mostly and it is not a nuc 😉 I do a lot of automation as well so XenServer is out of the loop at the moment. It is to slow deploying with MDT

Mea culpa 🙂 For Citrix testing: Go AHV, you won’t regret it

AHV is the way I had in my mind, but always great to get some input and ideas from others

Ahv & hyper-v are my lab goto’s unless I’m testing horizon.

I admit I do ESX for the most part. Free licenses though so it's easy.

Yeah I don't have free but like the speed of esxi

ESXi, Hyper-V, XS...I fully understand why folks would use those in labs. AHV, I don’t get...it’s not like you can install on your own hardware & sell it to clients for production use? What am I missing?

You can install it on your own hardware. Community Edition.

Yes, I know you can install on HW you own. Can you then sell that or did I miss that memo?

CE has majority of the same functionality and all api as prod

AHV just has a great interface and what I tested also great performance. What I didn't like the first time I tried it is that my cpu was using 20-30% all the time for the Hypervisor + management

AHV is cool, but i5 and 64 might be your bottleneck

    So AHV requires more?
