I know some of you have probably demo'd this already, but I got my hands on one this past weekend to test and it is really very cool for setting up labs. http://go.antsle.com/privatecloudserver27

@User What made or makes it special?

The ability to click and drag different hypervisor VM's right into the interface and imported without a hiccup was pretty cool. The UI is very simple and networking was easy to config.

The UI is almost too easy for advanced folks, but SSH access is there as well, so it's wide open, which is somewhat surprising.

@User Different hypervisors like XenServer, KVM, Hyper-V etc? Are these hypervisors installed on the Antsle box or separate lab install?
  • u

They are imported and converted on the fly. The Antsle uses KVM.

They should just sell the software & let folks provide their own hardware?

I keep asking them for one to try 😉

Since most folks on this board have much better (aka superior) hardware, has anyone asked if they will "provide" just the software?

Hey @User what magic words did you use to get one 😉

I didn't get one... yet. I buddy gave me access to his Pro unit.

@User I don't disagree, but not sure if that's in the business plan.

@User I was talking to a colleague about something I created years ago and went down memory lane. https://xenappblog.com/2010/the-best-remote-desktop-manager-applications/

I used RoyalTS for years, on both the Mac and Windows versions. More recently, I have rolled out Devolutions RDM to all of my engineers, and using a Devolutions Server (in Azure) to host our datastore.
