    Technically you can’t install vSphere on whitebox HW and sell it unless you’re an OEM.

    @Jarian Gibson The point is w vSphere, the option exists to buy software + your own hardware. You dont have that option w AHV, you have to buy the "appliance"

    With Hyper-V, XS, ESXi, KVM...you can buy software & go "roll" your own HW

    There is the Nutanix ELA option where you can start with HW manufacture A, then move the license to B then to C
