I quit the app, restarted, made sure I selected ringer pro and now I see the correct video. Explains why I was so confused.

The cover was very hard to remove. Thought it was going to break in half

@Webster Webster also the video doesn't show you how to pop the cover on and off easily. Having had to do it so many times now the easiest way is to put one thumb on the top black glass area and other on the bottom. The use the other fingers to pull while pressing down with your thumbs.

I got one of those thingamadohickers that tells the voltage and measured at the wires for the front doorbell. The reading was 21.7 so I should be good?

Don't forget to setup your motion zones and link your chime if you bought one. Device health will show you wifi strength and voltage. It will change at night when IR flips on.

@Webster Webster pop it in your chime box, will help regulate power. It will still work without it by the way as you see, but better to have it so power is consistent.

@User my whole neighborhood has them now. When we have those door to door solicitors my neighbors use that new warn your neighbors feature where they share the video with the whole neighborhood. Now I need to rig a little squirt gun turret on the eave and nail them when they show up.

Hmmm, octoblu flow idea, on ring neighborhood share of solictor, check for motion zone activation for period of 1 hr, immediately tell Rachio to turn on front lawn sprinkler zone if motion triggered, upload ensuing chaos footage from ring to slack.
