    If you do not need reliable thruput its definetly OK. For FullHD camera stream maybe not enough though

    Sorry, late to the discussion... WiFi doorbells?! I just got a door bell with a battery that uses some RF band and lets you mount the chime anywhere within a reasonable distace (somethinglike 100 ft). The door bell just sticks to the wall or door with adhesive.

    Any of you have experience with GPS trackers for younger kids? I know @Jarian Gibson was asking for his mom and I've found the gps enabled watches which might be a good fit

    Problem with those is charging and it requires a person to remember to put it on. For driving age folks hard wiring a phone with a tracker app is easier, setup and forget. For children/pets I've looked into the commercially available solutions and none of them hold a charge for days on end. If you guys find one that can lmk.

    @Kees Baggerman i like the ones verizon uses the gizmo lines, wish they were smaller but work.
