https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aJHTUlDqOomDd8dU45fg0ekQlPCm97dVWasvpj5bWmg/edit Folks let go from Stripe The list will keep getting updated as people opt in to it, so definitely keep checking. ~1000 people were let go, and <300 are on the list so far. Eg there will be more Asia-based Engineers coming. So keep checking it! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aJHTUlDqOomDd8dU45fg0ekQlPCm97dVWasvpj5bWmg/edit Stripe’s hiring standards are world class, it’s exceptionally hard to get in. And none of these are performance issues, all just an elimination of roles.

Hello Everyone, Hope you all are well. Just wanted to check what type of R&R program you guys are following in your organizations apart from the usual recognitions like Employee of the month etc. Is there any specific tool which anyone of you can suggest?

<!here> Hi Folks 👋 Give employees the authority to make choices. Remote employees that don’t have the authority to make choices may feel disengaged or without purpose. Not providing your remote employees with the authority to make decisions may also lead to build-up or a bottleneck where everything within the pipeline slows down or even eventually grinds to a halt. Empowering your employees to make crucial decisions not only engages them and makes them feel valued, but it also means you’re an effective manager or leader that is able to delegate when appropriate. Delegating tasks and giving your employees the authority to make decisions without you is a great way to boost morale and overall efficiency. 🤝 #HappyTuesday 🥳

Hi Rohan and Abhash. I am shocked and its rude. I posted my message here since the hash tag says 'general'. My understanding of general is something common to all. And it was not a commercial post.

Abhash, you being VP Marketing , know the difference between commercial or sales promotions and non sales promotions. I hope you know the validation process.

This is a pertinent point that's been brought up by Revathi. Bringing it up for everyone's notice, note this is NOT a group for our product promotions. This is a group for HR/People Ops professionals to help each other out. That's why we impose the rule of promotions re: Springworks too only to #shameless-plug Unless there's a specific ask for a tool, product, structure from someone where we can come in, we don't promote our own products. However, we'd like community members to keep us in check if you do see us overly promoting ourselves. This is a give-and-take after all 🙏🏽 https://theshapeofwork.slack.com/archives/C02U3M4GE4W/p1667897379058619

@Revathi S Been a part of a few communities now - here's what I've observed : If anyone is sharing a post they've written on social media is ideally a promotion of their own post (Your post being about an upcoming session does come under a promotion of a session) so it by default should go under the plug channel. I believe what happened here is a miscommunication of tone and intent. I understand you view towards it but communities maintain a "about the channel" space so everyone is aware of what can and can't be posted in the channel. The message for #general channel :
For #general: If you have any questions/asks/requests, post them in the #general channel.
Ps : I do not work for Springworks but just an active community member.

A question for Talent Acquisition professionals out there - how many open positions do you handle at a time? Also, what's a reasonable number of positions should a recruiter work on, to be able to deliver results with full efficiency? Would love to hear the community's thoughts on this!
