I think I found it, there is a “Conditional ” role assignment on the same window. Issue Solved!

<@U02U1P0D6ES> You can’t. One table can only have one top-level link, if you need multiple list views you’ll need to use different layouts, but you won’t have 3 top-level links

One work-around which I found (that I didn’t apply, cause I just used second-nav level) was to have an auto-sync in airtable to have between in 2 sheets (a waste of automations though!)

2. Seems like having the same database loaded twice is not the best way to do it? Any suggestions here - e.g. what did you mean by different layouts? is that the same concept as <@U02RTQSAWAF>’s second-level nav? So I could have a 'my profile' second level nav under the people directory
The thing I'm trying to solve for, is no matter where someone accesses the user profile from (whether it's their own "my profile", or via the "people directory", the "notes tab" - say they left a note or someone selected them from a dropdown), when they click on the profile / card / name field, they get redirected to the same profile and the same activity feed in that profile. Is that even possible?

I see what you guys mean now (I think), the second-level nav does the job, thanks both!

They do have charts but very basic capabilities

Hmm now getting the chance to do this, and I don't see charts either when I've selected the display to be 'rows', which I assume is the same as Lists. Will ask support

<@U02U1P0D6ES> You should see the chart option as long as you’re not in a “One record only” or Inbox layout.

But it’s an advanced feature the support needs to enable on your account once, manually (AFAIK)

I have one such record with a very special role “public”, and use the magic link publicly to grant access to our public content for anybody who wants it - they just have to click on the link and that’s it.

I don’t understand what that means, several people have said that, I haven’t noticed any change on my side.

If you create an app now, you'll see that the settings have changed and you don't see Customer Access option anymore. The configuration UI is slightly different. For existing apps you'll still see it.

good point Ruchika, I have the same issue here, not sure why we're seeing different things to Ambroise. Perhaps Ambroise you're on a different or more advanced plan?

They don't have a public one as far as I know. Would be great to have visibility into their roadmap!

Isn't this similar to a "public roadmap", except it does not have ETAs

Hi Ruchika, Is this your intercom or Stackers intercom? if it’s ours you want to deactivate you can do this in workspace settings - Set to Owners only. If you have added in your own, let me know what app this is and I can get the script removed.

You should be able to set this up as per example below -

• I have an order table with fields that I want the user to fill in on my Airtable base. *(screenshot 1)*
• User logs in and click add new *(screenshot 2)*
• This is the form they will land on to fill out the relevant information *(screenshot 3)*
• I can link the form to my products table and the user can select product they would like to order *(screenshot 4)*
Please note that we do not have a way to take payment via Stacker.

The issue here is that there is no ability to add multiple products adn to specify the quantity per product

*Thu's answer:*

• If you allow linking to multiple records on your base, users should be able to add in multiple products. (screenshot 1 &amp; 2)
• For Qty, you need to add in another field for users to specify Qty (screenshot 3)

<@U012WD5EDE0> not really clear for me how I can achieve quantities, as each quantity should be attached to a specific product (this is my "order lines" table in airtable, between order and products)

It might be that you would have to have separate order lines for each product with the ability to add qty per product. I can’t think of a more efficient way to set this up. Maybe someone else on here might have done something similar?

<@U012WD5EDE0> fyi I found my way out. I am actually very new to Stacker and did not realize this was achievable.

1 thing that was really confusing in the UX:
• When editing a form template, you have to click on the form to see the settings in the left panel and be able to enable/disable/manage each form field.

Are these the permissions on the Company table? If yes, then you should be able to configure it like this;

Somewhere the configuration must be missing. Have you checked if the link field is enabled in the table settings?

<@U02CZDG582K> It’s a relationship issue, Stacker seems unable to find a relationship between the User entity and your “IP licensing deals” entity. If there are in-between entities to link both, you’ll need to handle that by adding a custom “Relationship” field in Stacker, which can be based on record ids.

That’s what I do to link tables from different databases together.

We have a few SSO implementations, but I don’t think we implemented Okta yet. We can definitely look into that for those on the Enterprise plan, but this would be negotiated separately for each customer.

Because the ability to delete records is a destructive operation, we don't enable it by default in permissions - we didn't want deletion to be enabled without you realising it! So you will need to explicitly enable record deletion for users.

Hi All - any update on being able to track which customers have registered in any location other than the customer access dashboard within Stacker?

Not having this makes thoughtful CRM efforts very hard/nearly impossible (eg. new user Welcome Series). Would love to hear of any hack-y solutions if anyone has them!

I have a question about using the same layout in multiple apps. I have a Contact Manager app and a Marketing App used for tracking press hits. The Marketing App links to press contacts in the Contact Manager. Everything is working great except when a user clicks on the Contact link from the Marketing App. The Contact layout displayed is the default Stacker view instead of the layout view I created in the Contact Manager app. Is there any way to tell Stacker to send the user to the layout from my Contact Manager app?

Hey <@U02B6E487K3>, the external users will be able to see the test app only if they’ve been added to that test app as users/customers.

If they’re not on the user list of the test app, please send us all the details through the support widget (Question mark icon) and we’ll gladly take a look.

The details that would be useful:
• Which user can see both Apps/Workspaces
• URLs of both Apps/Workspaces

I do trust, just my team need to see some data of how many people are actually using it with customers/employees regularly - they have doubts, I don’t!

I’m not able to share data, but what Ben said is true—we should very easily be able to handle 150 users, and many more.

Do you have any estimated data? i.e more than 10 companies? more than 50? more than 100?

Let me try to get some data for you that I can share. It might take a little while to get it though.

All companies in our <https://www.stackerhq.com/showcase|Showcase section> are using Stacker regularly, and with quite a few users. Those  are only the ones we’ve made a showcase for, though there are plenty more.

I see we have a call scheduled for tomorrow, so we can perhaps continue this conversation then.

<@U02Q3FGQRAB> We likely have 50-100 visitors to the app per day, doesn't sound like we are doing the workload you are looking for data on though. We don't have problems with our numbers.

200 users using it as CRM. Most of these are grouped into companies with about 30 users.

Thanks Ruchika! so the whole password setting UX is pretty misleading, that's a shame. I see that an email invite can be sent to them to register - would you mind pointing me to that functionality?

ah wait I misunderstood, I believe you mean an email can be manually sent, not through Stacker. and when they go to the registration link, they should fully ignore the 'Login' link in the screenshot

Hey <@U02U1P0D6ES>. Stacker has an older version of the app that uses Customer Access, and the new one that doesn’t. I wasn’t sure which one you were on. When you get in touch through the support widget we’ll be happy to take a look at your setup and the options for password/passwordless

<@U02TER1SG5V> Unfortunately it sounds like you’re hitting a limitation of the current implementation—it should take until next data sync for the record to show up as related to that user. We’re working on a solution for this (as well as other similar scenarios related to action buttons), though I don’t have an ETA yet.

<@U02TER1SG5V> I'm curious about your setup. Are Users and Customers interacting with the same app using different permissions or through two different apps that are synced to the same AirTable base? 

It’s just one app.  Most users are customers and they only have access to their own profiles.  Then i have staff users that have additional permissions to be able to access multiple profiles.

It just seems odd that this issue is only arriving for my basic users.  So <@U02N890SW84> are you sure I am hitting a limitation here?

<@U01B1LTTYQJ> Thanks for the report. Known issue, we’ll be looking to fix it in the next release.

We issued a hotfix yesterday, but that broke the Edit layout screen on Stacker Classic.

We had to revert the fix and get back to the drawing board. We think we have it ready, but it will need to go through more QA this time around.

You might be able to temporarily fix this with custom CSS, though I can’t guarantee that there won’t be any issues. I haven’t had a chance to test this with every combination yet.
