Sorry way moving house for the next couple of weeks. I use the puppet module to run locally and usually a version bump just works. 

can you try using the module from this hash, <https://github.com/voxpupuli/puppet-puppetboard/commit/9c66830ac77227f401d873ac38abde71b823084a> and pypi installation method?

tricky. I think the current implementation is easier to read. but usually we try to support what upstream supports
