https://github.com/voxpupuli/puppet-logrotate/pull/207 - this looks like a trivial merge that would get ahead of stdlib9 noise.

https://docs.github.com/en/billing/managing-billing-for-github-actions/about-billing-for-github-actions#per-minute-rates I'm not sure if I'm bad at math or if 20 VMs with 4 cores each cost 13.824$ per month

ewoud: To calculate things in hiera you can calculate them in puppet and use %scope function in hiera. Real example:... (full message at https://libera.ems.host/_matrix/media/v3/download/libera.chat/4f22a99d5175ca2b68e7ec14d5004397896299b0)

I think these days you don’t need scope() for this.. I didn’t thought about local variables.. all I heard about is that one should avoid using it as much as possible :)

You don't need scope function puppet to puppet, you do scope function hiera to puppet. From what I remember it also stringifies everything but can can get back to an int with convert_to: "Integer" lookup_option in the parameter.

People, I managed to get something done about managing DNF modules via Puppet, inside puppet-yum module. I reduced the possible actions to the bare necessary - enabling/resetting streams and installing/removing profiles, with some fanciness on choosing them - but making it non redundant with
    package
    resource
    dnfmodule
provider. I also added some stuff to README and REFERENCE, so it doesn't look that much like black magic. Could I get a review on https://github.com/voxpupuli/puppet-yum/pull/318?

    Did something change in the
    spec
libraries that would change the IP address in tests? The
    OpenVPN
    module has hardcoded tests for
    10.0.2.15
, but all tests are now returning an IP of
    10.109.1.2
. Is that expected? I found the change in FacterDB, but I don't see any explanation.
