how are the packages built at the moment? Locally or in GitHub CI?

now that we have money we could actually buy something

if there's no proper SaaS provider, we can get cloud instances at Hetzner for free

I had that in mind as well, yes

having it under the same domain is probably not what we want, but maybe we can alsouse their infra

The Apt and Deb package repos are a fairly resource-intensive Eng. bottleneck and any issues there tend to have the cascading effect of breaking all test pipelines. Worth asking about, but it might not be a good fit.

@csharpsteen - that may be true, but many enterprises expect it for package installation.

Is that something that vox and puppet could collaborate on making suck less then? (I'm not saying do it, I am just thinking that it is win-win for everyone involved)
