I think that might be a sane default. Could also mess with https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppet-lint/blob/main/lib/puppet-lint/tasks/puppet-lint.rb#L41 to provide a way of setting the config when using the rake task, but I don't think that'll be necessary.

you can also consider introducing a new env var for the destination filename

yeah, maybe that would be simplest. If the var is set, it's the filename you want a code climate formatted report written to. Otherwise don't write anything. I can't imagine anybody wanting the output for anything other than gitlab, so that's probably fine. No need to overcomplicate things.

    I wish there was an
    ignore_dependencies
or similar option you could specify for a gem in your Gemfile…

I wish there were more groups of maintainers and less projects with a bus factor of 1

Tried to access the voxpupuli site and this way I realised that maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com is blocked in Malaysia 😄 I thought it was just one ISP but after some googling I found it’s state-wide.. JFYI

for most modules testing all RHEL-variants is useless and just wasting compute resources

@bastelfreak is this accurate, are you going to SCALE in March? https://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale/20x/presentations/vox-pupuli-behind-every-successful-open-source-project-vibrant-community I attended in 2020. it’s only 200 km from where I live. trying to decide whether I want to attend this year.
