    The discussion with engineering was that r10k was "feature complete" from Puppets point of view, so closing the issue section was to avoid any further feature requests going in when the intention for managing the project was simply to ensure ongoing stability, particularly for code manager.

    and now we're in a very bad situation where Puppet still owns the tool but it doesn't look like PRs will get much attention. But I also don't want to migrate it to vox pupuli because PE heavily relies on it and a migration would mean offload work for a payed product to unpaid FOSS people
