    Also important:
However, you cannot be both a controller and a processor for the same processing activity.
In some cases, you could be a controller and a processor of the same personal data – but only if you are processing it for different purposes. You may be processing some personal data as a processor for the controller’s purposes and only on its instruction, but also process that same personal data for your own separate purposes.

Hi all - just sent an email but in-case anyone checks here more often We have just been informed our 3PL is shutting with immediate effect. We are a B2C e-commerce business and sell a range of products but nothing particularly difficult. Does anyone have any recommendations of 3PLs that have space/could integrate quickly/that are good to work with? Or their own warehouse that has space short/long term and would consider subletting some space? Many thanks, Lydia

Hey team, I'm helping to organise an event and looking for catering service for an 80-people breakfast. I've reached out to Karma Cans and City Pantry but looking for other options. Do you have suggestions?

@wooden-appointment-3216 I've used Eat First previously but I think you can also get them (and many other catering companies) via City Pantry

Afternoon everyone. Really keen for some thoughts from this community on Manchester! As a business, we are expanding into Manchester and will be hiring staff in the region and growing our business in the city, after operating in just London for the last 2 years. I'm keen to get some advice/ thoughts on a few questions I have: Is slack a big thing in Manchester, do many business's use it? in terms of people looking for work in Manchester, especially for work in startups, what type of platforms are good to advertise roles on?_ and finally which website/platform is a good tool to find out about startup events in the city?

Hi, this is an embarrassingly boring question: but has anyone moved their team’s documentation (product descriptions and explanations, internal processes etc) from Confluence to an alternative like Notion or Slite? We’ve hit a stage where we need to be more disciplined about it. Thanks!

Hi all, Wondered if anyone had any advice on how to best manage a smallish but increasingly hectic warehouse? We are buying a lot of furniture and have a great delivery team but our internal ops team are spending an increasing amount of time there sorting out what’s what. I’ve looked at various software systems but they are too advanced for us. Any advice welcome. Thanks 😊

Anyone have any thoughts on Greenhouse vs Lever? We’re 16 people and aiming for 21 in next few months. Can’t believe how expensive both are. Thanks!

Does anybody have a complaints procedure they can share, i.e. if someone wants to complain about the company, who to contact, what information they need, etc?

<!here> Morning All - another question from me i’m afraid! I am currently looking at employee engagement, and looking for a survey tool. I want to do a big survey to kick start our employee engagement work, to set a baseline. I am looking for a tool that can segment results by team / grade ideally. Has anyone got any suggestions? I have done quite a bit of research, but keen to hear what people have tried and your feedback!

<!here> hey team - has anyone here been through the cyber essentials certification process? If so can I grab 5-10 mins of your time for a quick call? We're on some tight deadlines for a tender submission and would appreciate a first hand account of how time consuming the process is. Thanls

hey, question about shipping to the US - how does one attribute a discount over multiple shipments for one order? e.g. We offer 20% off on orders over £200 -> this needs 2 parcels to go to the US with the documentation on both parcels. Our documents show item prices for each box, but do we have to/should we proportion the discount somehow? (@lemon-state-98124 I am thinking about you specifically here 🙂 )

🙂 we dont send over multiple parcels! They tend to go in one box. We have a warning on our site about orders over $700 (i think) as above this amount the customer becomes liable for taxes

Ok - i have checked @salmon-school-51099. We use DHL paperless trade so this makes it a lot easier. Essentially we can use multiple boxes and not worry about the actual paperwork on them - as it is paperless

Hey all! A friend of mine is cofounder at Spill (that offers text based counselling services for employees). Maria over there is doing some research and is looking to speak to people in ops). Anyone interested in helping out over lunch (and learning about what Spill does), please reach out to Maria 🙂
