    But again the render cycle of react is made for efficient UI rendering not games, so I don't really think it's a good idea but many have tried.

    is it a cool lib to potentially make externs for? i dont know enough about haxe's breadth of native ui component frameworks for desktop

    I've messed around with trying to make externs for proton around 6 months ago but couldn't grasp it

    I briefly tried again around 2 weeks ago but I couldn't get the pre-requisists working for linux so I couldn't even compile the native project

    but yeah ideally i'd like to skip the electron dependency which is why I've tried proton

    I've also briefly tried react-native desktop a while ago but I didn't like the dependency on QT
