    for me, personally, 2 weeks away from not writing code and i get the "itch"

    Once, and I'm not kidding, I was writing code faster than I could think... at some point I wrote whole line without realizing what I'm writing and it worked. Sort of like reflex. Like changing gear in a car while also putting in blinker and focusing on making a turn.

    Oh yeah. I would need a solid 2 months now, but yeah, that helps.

    i dont think "writing code as a reflex" is a good property personally... likely not the best code

    i know (for me) that writing code without thinking at 5am "just because" is going to mean a rewrite when i wake up and read it again with a fresh head

    This week I've worked maybe like 6 hours a day only, and wrote maybe 200 lines of notes and 50 lines of code... in a whole week.
