    auto-hiding the taskbar forced me into that habit

    sometimes i use the mouse with the task bar, especially for notes, or things i cant find with in 4-5 alt tabs

    I'm still missing some kind of "filter by typing the window title" in alt-tab though

    I used virtual desktops in win 10 once or twice, when I had too many windows.

    if you use virtual desktops, you probably don't have enough monitors 😄

    Otherwise alt-tab and hiding taskbar (on the bottom though, not sure if it would help with left).

    yeah, virtual desktops are one of this things that i think "yeah, great idea" but then i just end up filling all of them with nonsnse, or micro managing whats in them

    Although it was annoying when you alt-tab hoping to get to code and not see it there cos it's on the other desktop.

    I will dedicate a room to that, with 6 mapped keyboards along the walls, each will have 2-3 code panes in front of it. Big holographic 3d dependency view in the middle of the room.

    It might be my adhd or whatever, but I work best when I talk to myself out loud, and walking.
