without lix or submodules, it's even harder to keep libs in sync / compatible

with releases you can at least tell from version numbers or release notes
  • b

    bright-gpu-74537

    09/16/2019, 9:35 PM
i use git submodules all the time

haxelib is especially bad at creating files where they shouldnt be

    bitter-family-72722

    09/16/2019, 9:36 PM
    what do you mean?
  • b

    bright-gpu-74537

    09/16/2019, 9:37 PM
its very possible you will end up with a ".git" (i dont remember the name) and a ".release"
  • b

    bright-gpu-74537

    09/16/2019, 9:37 PM

  • b

    bright-gpu-74537

    09/16/2019, 9:37 PM

  • b

    bright-gpu-74537

    09/16/2019, 9:38 PM

  • b

    bitter-family-72722

    09/16/2019, 9:38 PM

  • b

    bright-gpu-74537

    09/16/2019, 9:38 PM

    I think that's intended,
    haxelib dev
    /
    .dev
    just overrides the current version
