I think there are still some people out there using old haxeui, I think just a few days ago I saw someone asking a question about it somewhere... I build the first version of my application with it, I have upgraded to new haxeui, but it's still an openfl application...

    release a version 1.9.0 that has a
#error "library retired; please upgrade to haxeui-core!"

even if it wasn't, you could do the same with init macros + Context.error()

    09/16/2019, 9:20 PM
    and it doesnt stop compliation?

    09/16/2019, 9:22 PM
well, to be fair, the haxelib is called "haxeui", not haxeui1

  • b

    bright-gpu-74537

    09/16/2019, 9:23 PM
right, i didnt think to call it haxeui1-just-a-test-dont-use

    09/16/2019, 9:23 PM
    not unreasonable to expect that
    haxelib install haxeui
would get you what you need
  • b

    bright-gpu-74537

    09/16/2019, 9:23 PM
    agreed
  • b

    bright-gpu-74537

    09/16/2019, 9:24 PM
    even
    install haxeui
    doesnt actually make sense
  • b

    bright-gpu-74537

    09/16/2019, 9:25 PM
