Warmed my heart to hear Brian say: "As an engineer, I value the work that product managers do". He talked about how transforming your internal software to SaaS basically never works. But it sounds like the software worked just fine. Unfortunately working software is not enough... and the business didn't transform, so the whole thing didn't turn out well.

Recently I came across a nicely written blog about the author's realization from being skeptical about AI hype to accepting AI for the right use. In this post, I want to share what I've learnt about the 5 ranking factors that you could use to rank your pages in google.. Intrusive interstitials: Google considers them negative for rankings as they can harm user experience. Backlinks: Build links from reputable websites, ensuring they don't obstruct content. Page speed: Core Web Vitals measure loading performance, interactivity, and visual stability. This report in Google Search Console provides a good overview of your website's loading performance, interactivity, and visual stability. Fresh content: If your keyword requires fresh content, make sure to update your page or publish new articles often to keep up with demand. HTTPS: Having a TLS certificate improves security and is viewed positively by Google.

Does anyone have any SaaS specific book recommendations for the group? I’ve read lots of programming books, business books, and leadership books. I’ve never read any SaaS specific business or leadership books. I don’t think I’ve even seen one that qualifies as “Programming for SaaS”
