SaaS Labs Accused of Misleading Job Postings Job seekers are raising red flags about troubling recruitment practices allegedly carried out by SaaS Labs, a company operating in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) space. Several candidates claim that the company is posting fake job listings on LinkedIn, disguised as legitimate hiring opportunities, but are in fact tactics to obtain free project work under the name of "recruitment assignments." Two recruiters frequently mentioned in these complaints are Akshit (HR) and Shirley (Product Recruiter). According to candidate testimonies, the process begins with flattery—profiles are said to be "liked too much" by the design team, with over-the-top praise that lacks credibility. But what follows is even more concerning: candidates are spammed with follow-up messages and calls—often up to 10 times a day, even when they’ve explicitly declined further participation or said they’re considering other opportunities. More disturbingly, calls are made from multiple contact numbers, creating a sense of pressure and making it harder for candidates to avoid the unwanted communication. Several have stated they were even asked to lie during interviews or pretend to be interested in roles they had no intention of pursuing. These tactics appear to be part of a deliberate strategy to push candidates into unpaid work under the false promise of a job. If true, this is a serious violation of professional ethics and fair hiring practices. It’s time for us to take a closer look at companies exploiting their recruitment tools, and for job seekers to remain cautious and report such behavior.

Hi, for several years Form-Data.com offered a forms-backend as a service, for people building their own static forms. Now, I'm happy to share that I've added a unique text-to-form builder. As with any modern tool, you can of course use AI to generate your form. Here's a demo showing how you can have a fully working hosted form in just 2 minutes, with all the bells-and whistles needed in the backend, such as spam filter, email notifications, auto-response emails and integrations. I'd really appreciate if you give it a go and share any feedback - the studio is open without registration, and if you want to publish you need to signup without credit-card, and you get 100 free credits.

Just finished building a system that helps SaaS teams turn search intent into demo opportunities—without the usual manual grind. It starts with a single Apollo search URL. From there, the system: • Scrapes leads via Apify • Filters out incomplete or duplicate data • Verifies emails to avoid bounce issues • Sends the valid leads to Perplexity for context (what they do, who they serve, etc.) • If there’s enough info, ChatGPT writes a personalized intro line • The lead + icebreaker is then auto-fed into an Instantly cold email campaign • Finally, the system updates the database so you don’t hit the same lead twice The entire pipeline runs automatically, and every message feels handcrafted—even at scale. If you’re doing cold outbound to book demos, this kind of setup is a game-changer for making your outreach smarter, not louder. Happy to walk through it if anyone’s building something similar or wants to jam on cold systems.

Hi everyone, I’ve been researching how organisations prioritise core competencies and hard skills in hiring, but often lack effective systems to minimise bias in culture-fit assessments. To explore this further, I’m conducting a survey to understand whether this gap truly exists. I’m reaching out to people who are directly involved in hiring decisions, particularly those assessing culture fit, as well as those engaged in integrating processes and applications within their tech stack (procurement process). The insights you share will be extremely valuable in shaping our product development priorities and will also serve as a foundation for our broader strategic objectives. Thank you in advance for your time and perspective—I truly appreciate your support in helping drive more thoughtful and inclusive decision-making. https://forms.gle/DNgcD81xzM9momLN6

Hi folks! 👋 I’ve been wrestling with Google Sheets lately, trying to build some simple automations using Apps Script. Since I don’t have prior experience with it, I haven’t quite figured out how to make things work yet. I was wondering if anyone here has related experience and wouldn’t mind taking a quick look at what I’m working on, and maybe share some advice? I hope this is the right place to ask. Wish me luck in this adventure 😄 and wishing everyone a great weekend! 🚀

Is there a notable difference between HA offered by Postgres SaaS providers vs. doing it yourself? In other words, are the SaaS providers using some proprietary software/patches that work better than the pure open source tools? I’m hearing it’s difficult to set up HA Postgres and that it frequently requires some manual operations

Putting my project manager hat on. We use Excalidraw to manage all work in our organization and it works beautifully. However, we want to move our open-source roadmap out of excalidraw and into GitHub (because...well...open source). We have a few tracks (workflow features, day 2 ops, performance, bug fix) and we have issues prioritized within those tracks in our excalidraw. Is there any way to come close to that same setup in github? I haven't found any...honestly I love the excalidraw setup.
