    QQ: Is there anyone here that feels that affiliate programs are relevant to this Slack (SaaS Developers)? I see it is out of scope and would like to moderate it, but I wanted to check in case anyone actually uses them.

    TIL: That there is a SaaS+ model where your SaaS product is targeting a specific vertical, and is also used as a "marketplace" for 3rd party products: https://rallyvc.medium.com/the-rally-ventures-saas-playbook-c9fc8400bed3 I learned about that because @Brock Noland (early community member, who may still be around...) just announced fundraising for his company that does insurance via this model: https://newsdirect.com/news/vertical-insure-raises-new-capital-to-help-vertical-soft[…]-platforms-drive-revenue-through-embedded-insurance-623468378 Cool stuff happening 🙂

    Hi Peeps! I need your opinion with how to design part of our page; the steps to get a free trial in my product 1. User clicks on
    Get free trial
    >> Finds a typeform to fill in >> then we contact them within an hour and >> offer an onboarding call 2. User clicks on
    Get free trial
    >> Gets redirected to a page of 4 steps, (1) the typeform to fill in some info about their business, (2/3) connect their accounts, (4) that within 24 hours they will receive an email from us with accesses (No call) I intended to go with the second way to reduce friction a bit, and hopefully have better conversion. I understand that both of them are not good at the right scale. But which path would look better in your opinion?

    Hi Everyone. I’m currently researching the ways in which people leverage twitter to grow their customer base or drive sales. I wondered if any of you would be willing to share your experience? I’m not looking to sell you anything, dw 😀. It’s just that i’m building pickrsocial.com, an AI powered tool to help people turn tweets in to revenue. Any insights you can provide would be super valuable. Allow me to answer any questions you may have upfront: • You don’t need to prep or bring anything. • This isn’t a sales call. • There’ll be no trick questions. Outside of that I've leveraged social media in the past to create a successful e-commerce business, my knowledge may be of use to you. Would anyone be up for a call? Here is my availability 😊: https://calendly.com/alexander-joseph/30min Look forward to hearing from you. Alex

    Hey everyone! We are looking for engineers that needs/wants alerting for their app/infra. We are building an OSS project just for that and looking for the early adopters. Basically working with every observability tool (elastic, datadog, prometheus) so you won’t need to change anything on your stack. Ping me!

    Hi everyone, I recently started working on a B2B SaaS platform and we've been able to develop an Alpha. We now have to move towards understanding pricing and since this is my first time doing this from scratch, would appreciate a little help by the community to mention points to consider.

    I post frequently about the importance of SEO and the reasons why, in my opinion, it’s one of the first places to put your marketing dollars. In response, I’ve received a few questions about how to go about finding the right partner that can really get things moving in the right direction. Here are a few things to look for:

    Hi everyone, I’m Michelle Cherian, a product strategist helping high growth tech companies with research and design towards building the right product for their bottom line growth. #ASK I’m in the super early stages of ideating on developing and launching my own course (possibly on Maven, if anybody has used that platform). The idea for the course is to help SaaS companies scale by optimizing their SaaS user onboarding flows. I’m love online courses — however, I’ve never created one myself before! I’d love to chat with founders and product people that have taken similar courses on platforms like Maven OR those who’d be interested in sharing some information about what they’d like to see in this course! I will gladly share any feedback/advice in return for a 20-30 minute chat. I’m going to drop my calendar link below or feel free to DM me! https://calendly.com/michelle_cherian/courseresearch

    New of the SaaS Developer Youtube: The Unified Theory of Batch and Stream Processing, with Santona Tuli, Ph.D. I met Santona Tuli at Data Day Texas 23 where she presented the unified theory of batch/stream processing (spoiler: It is all just SQL). Naturally, I had to invite her to the podcast to discuss in detail. We discussed the reasons behind batch/stream unification, how to determine if a process should be batch or stream, the rise of the real-time applications and Santona's advice on building them reliably. Last but not least, we discussed the challenges around building a data-processing SaaS, especially as customers demand to maintain their full ownership of all the data.

    When you pick a Keyword for writing a blog, Align it with the search intent. I call it 3 Cs of the content. We try to figure out what kind of content, searchers want to see. (more in threads)

    I apologize for the DM spamming that happened this morning and my thanks to the watchful members who reported this issue! Every individual who engaged in unsolicited DMs was deactivated. Thanks to a proposal by @Shay Nehmad, we now have #C04PVUDNVDM. If you want to report concerns in public or ask questions about acceptable community behavior, this is a good place to do this. Of course, you can always DM me about community guidelines and moderation concerns. May that channel remain blessedly low traffic 🙏

    Hey everyone, My team recently asked me for content on GTM strategies and how to pull them off, while I've shared them some very relevant documents, they're expecting some case studies of different products. Can the channel assist by sharing any case studies of product launch and the thoughts behind it. Thanks.

    Something that keeps coming up in conversations about multi-tenant systems is the idea of a subdomain per tenant. So if I'm
    <http://mysaas.com|mysaas.com>
    and one of my tenants is
    foocorp
    , they will use
    <http://foocorp.mysaas.com|foocorp.mysaas.com>
    rather than
    <http://app.mysaas.com/foocorp/|app.mysaas.com/foocorp/>...
    Anyone has insights for why the subdomain pattern is popular and desirable? is this for specific use-cases?

    Funny chatGPT story: https://blog.opencagedata.com/post/dont-believe-chatgpt I hope no one here just randomly copy-pastes snippets from a general language model...
    ChatGPT is doing exactly what its makers intended - producing a coherent, believable answer. Whether that answer is truthful does not seem to matter in the slightest.
