    If an enemy attacks all Oathsworn and the Warden uses a card to defend another Oathsworn by taking an attack "instead of another character" is the Warden attacked twice?

    I think this has been answered before and it's that knockback follows normal movement rules. Thematically I view it as the character getting knocked back to be flying through the air and landing somewhere, so movement slowdown wouldn't apply

    If we have 1 reroll on survival check is this 1 reroll for the whole group regardless who takes it first? Or 1 reroll per check? Or 1 reroll per character?

    Is there a limit for might dice for a character? I see a 3 dice one handed weapon, if that's paired with a 2 dice weapon, would I get 5 might dice? Or just 4?

    I think might check and round of combat (where weapons do count) are different, but I would like to hear confirmation too.

    the might form the weapons add to the might checks and round of combats and these are the only check featured by empowered tokens

    hi, I have a few rule questions: 1) Targeting doesn't require line of sight, right? So if I "hide" behind a tree, the mob would still go around me it, if his range is high enough to attack me. Am I right about this? 2) I assume that water effects targeting in the sense of calculating who is the closets enemy and a water hex would basically count as 2 hexes for this. Is that correcta? 3) Since falcon attacks of the huntress count as ranged attack by the huntress, does that mean the huntress needs to be in attack range and line of sight at the moment of attack? That would be thematically strange, since the falcon is doing the attack. 4) If I don't have all required falcons (e.g. some cards say that I send 2 falcons on a target), does that mean the whole ability can not be played, even things like doing 1 movement before sending out the falcons or playing the card just to trigger battleflow?

    6) Do large characters loose 2 hp (one on each colliding hex) if being knockbacked in a way that 2 of their hexes collide with the same obstacle?

    As far as #2 goes, I would say no. Closest is determined by the number of hexes between characters, not the number of movement points required to reach a character.

    The grove maiden seems to be very weak against might checks during the story. I'm not missing anything am I? Up to 1 black die and 0-10 white dice?

    You can only have 4 on your might track. From there you can empower as many white dice as you'd like.

    Knockback is halved against large monsters. Don't remember the Flaming Whip text off-hand.

    1) Both minion and monster default targeting will only target characters within range and within line of sight. If there are no options which meet both of those, their last tiebreaker is to ignore both range and line of sight and try to attack anyway. For minions specifically:

    Encounter. Instead, they will target the
    closest Oathsworn, Ally or any character
    friendly to the Oathsworn that is in their
    Line of Sight.
    2) I think so. 3) The Huntress needs to be within the specified range on the card, rather than her weapon range. (So, a Huntress with a melee weapon can still hit with falcons from afar.) Abilities require LoS unless otherwise specified. 4) If you do not meet all requirements you cannot play that part of the card. You might want to look at the alternate section (if any) or defend with the card just to trigger battleflow. 5) Note that the fire behavior you describe is in the 2nd edition rulebook, which has not been finalized yet. The change in fire rules is supposed to come with changes to the Witch's cards, but we haven't seen that yet. 6) I don't think so.

    O wisest discord server, I come once again to seek knowledge and prove to my group that they are wrong and I am right....jk lol. But 2 questions, does the card 'Chained' for the Warden mean I have to move 3 spaces closer, or do I get some wiggle room. I'll post the card below. I assume Move 3 to the enemy does not mean I have to end up adjacent, nor every hex move needs to end up closer. Another rules question is on how breaking locations works with certain cards. Our bear last night, broke a location with 'Toss' I think, and do they or do they not get the ability to "throw" the enemy. The card reads something like, even if the enemy dies, you may still move them. Thanks for any input team!
