In this case I think green would still have been the target, but red would have eventually walked around the wall.

I suspect there have been other cases where we got that wrong, checking raw hexes away vs how many actual hexes would it take to get adjacent.

I think we had always been checking raw hexes away first, and then moving so the enemy ends up (following NW rule) "as close as they can"

Oh snap! No, it was I who misread that image! And just realized what you meant now. So if the stage card says "walk towards *target*", it will use the Special Rules card. But if it says "Target nearest *Oathsworn*", that would override what the default rule on the stage card would say about who to target.

While looking up some targeting rules on my previous quandary thought of another and want to confirm.

In this image it talks about how witch is in LOS of broodmother but broodmother is not in LOS of witch, because large enemy uses front hex for LOS

If the witch did some attack on this scenario and broke a die and triggered a reaction

    Something basic like this

Would it still go at the witch or say there was an exile adjacent to the broodmother right behind in rear hex, target there?

Because of the "unless not in range / or LoS" clause in step 1 reaction targeting

So yes this witch wouldn't become the target caus she nit in LOS

Opt in to the chapter 15 spoiler channel and ask there

What we’re the changes to the rules? I remember something about the witches fire now only causing damage only if an enemy lands on it, and not passes through it. We’re there any other changes?

Nothing official for first edition, but in the loot and level you only draw 3 common items and 1 unique.

I may start implementing that. We’re maxed out with loot at 20 in the backpack

We only had that issue before we realized that all oathsworn always lose at least 1 item, even if they weren't knocked out. Originally we thought you only lost an item if you died.....

If i throw an amber satchel charge in the middle of a large enemy that occupies 7 spaces does that mean i instantly deal 7 damage to the boss? Seems crazy broken

Amber satchel charge is a card for the huntress

For Ranger's multishot: do all three minions have to be within range? If all three minions are adjacent and only one of them is within range, can I still target all three with this card?

For Arcing Strike, can I target two hexes of a boss and therefore hit it twice?

You add +1 damage for the second hex it targeted

Thanks! Is that mentioned in the FAQ or manual anywhere? Couldn't find it. Hopefully, this will be one of the cards that will get updated in the reprint

I'm playing that with my wife right now. The game is definitely more rules intensive but the rulebook is really well written with an awesome master index. The Learn to Play book is well done too!

I'm fairly sure all three have to be in range. It's not like Riccochet where it mentions any additional range.

Yes, all targets have to be in range.
